Ganesha’s Place is home to Savannah’s new therapeutic yoga studio.    It’s a place to explore, heal and have fun!

Ganesha’s can be a place for the whole family:  you’re not required to be athletic or wear special outfits;  and classes are also available for special needs kids.  It’s the movement and creativity which creates a place of calm, peace, and soothing relaxation for children and adults.

With a therapeutic approach to individuals and their health, stress is removed from the body to regain balance and restore energy.

Yoga therapy at Ganesha’s regulates and improves the balance between health and wellness without the intimidating images of body contortions and “pretzels”.  And for the overly active individual who has a hard time slowing down and being still, Ganesha’s studio offers alternatives to typical moves like Hoop Dancing.

Please arrive 10 – 15 minutes early if you are a new student.  The studio door is locked when class begins.

Saturday, May 18, 3-5 pm         

INTRO TO QIGONG

Qigong,  the Mother of Acupuncture and Tai Chi, uses advanced breathing techniques, meditation and movement to harvest the Qi.  Taught by Tim Walsh.

$25 until May 11; $30 thereafter

 

Sunday,June 2, 12-3 pm

YOGA FUNDAMENTALS:  NECK & SHOULDERS

Greg Schultz will be teaching a workshop on releasing and strengthening the neck and shoulder area, a common site for holding tension and causing chronic pain.

$30 until May 26: $35 thereafter

 

Saturday, June 8, 1-3 pm

RESTORATIVE YOGA MEETS THAI MASSAGE

Experience a full body treatment that relieves tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.  Includes herbal compress treatment!

Limited to 12 participants  -  $50
